About Françoise Richard
Art Conservator and Art Conservation LecturerAfter graduating with a MA in art conservation from Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne Université (Paris, France) in 2005, I dedicated myself to mastering the fundamental techniques of book and paper conservation in cultural institutions and private conservation studios in North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.Rich of these experiences, including two years working as a conservator at the Rijksmuseum, I set up my company in the Netherlands in 2019 to provide conservation services to Dutch cultural institutions and private owners. In parallel, I joined the Conservation Programme, Book and Paper specialisation, at the University of Amsterdam where I lecture part-time since 2021.I am an accredited member of Icon, the Institute of Conservation, and a member of Restauratoren Nederland
